The booster pump’s motor failure is usually defected bearings that are affected from water passing through the shaft seal. More than half the impellers are melted where the seal sits and will continue to leak causing premature bearing failure. We replace all suspect parts to assure years of reliable performance. We do offer other motors with suggested seal kits but the Polaris pump is notorious for damage from running dry.
