DROPS Alpaca Bouclé is a beautiful soft yarn spun from 2 superfine threads alpaca with a base of wool and polyamide which gives the yarn its wear resistance. The natural fibers are untreated, which means that the wool has only been washed and not exposed to chemical treatments prior to dyeing. This way the natural properties of the yarn remain visible and the yarn has a beautiful shape and structure. “Bouclé” is a French word for loop which refers to a lot of small loops of sheer alpaca, which provide the characteristic appearance which makes the yarn even softer.
